Governance

To govern ¨well¨ is to connect, perspectives, disciplines, regions, and responsibilities. I work to weave complex strands into coherent frameworks, My governance philosophy is rooted in this belief, whether through attending intergovernmental negotiations, analyzing institutional linkages across treaties, and policies or advising multilateral bodies,

My academic background blends natural sciences, policy, and law, allowing me to approach governance challenges from a holistic perspective.
I operate at the interface of science, law and diplomacy.
Key pillars of my governance work include:
- Interdisciplinarity: Navigating the boundaries between science, law, and social systems
- Equity and inclusion: Representing under-heard voices
- Strategic innovation: Anticipating legal and institutional gaps in emerging policies
Governance must also reckon with history and power. I have worked on revisiting the colonial legacies embedded in conservation institutions, and designed strategies for more ethical and inclusive policy design.

To lead is to convene, and I see governance as a space where cooperation becomes the foundation of change!
